What We Collect
i nag you collects the minimum information needed to operate the service:
- Your phone number (provided when you text our number)
- Phone numbers of people you set up nags for
- The content of nag messages you create
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card number)
- Message delivery logs (timestamps, delivery status)
How We Use Your Data
- To send and manage nag reminders you set up
- To process payments and maintain your message balance
- To honor opt-out requests and maintain block lists
- To send you account notifications (low balance, nag completed, etc.)
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not store payment card details (Stripe handles all payment processing)
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate:
- Twilio — to send and receive SMS messages
- Stripe — to process payments
- Supabase — to store account and nag data
Each service has its own privacy policy and handles data according to their terms.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you want your data deleted, text STOP to our number or contact us and we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Recipient Data
If someone sets up a nag for you, we store your phone number and the nag message. You can reply STOP at any time to permanently block that sender and remove the active nag. We will not send you further messages unless you explicitly opt in to a new nag request.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to, deletion of, or information about the personal data we collect. Contact us to exercise these rights.
